About the Position

GroupM7 is looking for a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. We’re looking for someone who combines strong visual design skills with an understanding of how to create modern, user-friendly websites.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working on multiple projects while collaborating with our design, development, content, and production teams.

This position will be based in our Tyler or Longview office, with an in-person and/or hybrid work arrangement depending on the candidate and role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build visually appealing, modern, and user-friendly websites
• Create responsive designs that work well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Work with clients and internal team members to understand project goals and design requirements
• Translate branding, content, and project requirements into effective website designs
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Make updates and revisions based on client and internal feedback
• Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, color, imagery, and overall visual hierarchy
• Ensure websites provide a strong user experience and are easy to navigate
• Work on multiple website projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Stay current with web design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of web design principles, layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
• Knowledge of building websites using Bootstrap
• Proficient in HTML and CSS/SCSS
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio demonstrating previous web design work

A degree in graphic design, web design, digital media, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
